Jaiswal urged the international community to hold Pakistan accountable for these atrocities and called on countries to take strong action against cross-border terrorism.

Jaiswal also criticized the recent so-called elections in PoJK, describing them as a 'complete farce.' He highlighted that public protests and killings by Pakistani forces are the real issues. The spokesperson emphasized that such exercises cannot conceal the reality on the ground.

Contrasting Realities of Jammu and Kashmir

Seven years after the abrogation of Article 370, Jammu and Kashmir has seen significant improvements in stability and development. In contrast, PoJK continues to face allegations of unrest, restrictions on civil liberties, and economic hardship. Residents and political voices in PoJK have raised concerns over governance and development.
