Kathmandu— The Nepal 'A' cricket team departed today for Australia to participate in the 'Top End T-20 Series', a tournament hosted by Northern Territory Cricket in Darwin. The team received a farewell from officials of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) prior to their departure, as they prepare to compete against local teams in a six-match league stage. This marks the second time Nepal has participated in the Top End T-20 series.

Squad Composition

The Nepali team is captained by Anil Kumar Shah and includes Kushal Bhurtel, Lokesh Bam, Mayan Yadav, Tritaraj Das, Kushal Malla, Rashid Khan, Pawan Sarraf, Deepak Dumre, Shahab Alam, Bipin Khatri, Rijan Dhakal, Narayan Joshi, Akash Chand, and Yubaraj Khatri. The team represents a mix of experienced players and emerging talent selected to compete in the series.

Tournament Details

The 'Top End T-20 Series' will be held in Darwin, Australia, beginning on August 20th. Nepal is scheduled to play six matches during the league stage. Their first match will be against Northern Territory (NT) Strike. The tournament is hosted by Northern Territory Cricket.
