The Chadian security source stated that the airstrike targeted a fuel market utilized by the RSF. The attack resulted in twelve fatalities and seven injuries, according to reports from AFP news agency. This incident follows a previous accusation by Chad last week, alleging Sudan was responsible for an air strike on a military convoy within its territory.

Chadian Response and Deployment

In response to perceived threats, particularly from drones, Chad had already elevated its alert level in the border region to its highest point. Approximately 100 armored vehicles and signal-jamming trucks were deployed near eastern Tine, close to the Sudanese border, according to a local source. Sudan’s Denial and Statement

Sudan expressed surprise at Chad's allegations, stating it awaited a professional investigation into the incident.
