Kathmandu— Swiss police have confirmed that the man suspected of shooting and killing a 22-year-old Italian woman during a rave in Aarau, Switzerland, on Sunday morning was a lone perpetrator. The suspect, a 43-year-old Swiss man with psychological issues, turned himself in to authorities on Monday and has remained silent since his arrest.

Investigation Details

According to Aargau cantonal police commander Michael Leupold, there is no indication that anyone else was involved in the attack. The shooting left five other people injured. Police have found two pistols and an AK-47 assault rifle in the suspect's car. Prosecutor Christoph Ruedi stated that the motive for the attack remains unknown.
