Kathmandu— Today, the weather across Nepal is expected to be generally cloudy with a high likelihood of light to moderate rain in some areas. The Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has issued warnings for heavy rainfall at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, as well as parts of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim.

Rainfall Warnings Issued

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has warned that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at many places in the hilly region, as well as some areas in the Tarai regions of Koshi, Lumbini, and Sudurpashchim provinces. Additionally, heavy rainfall is likely at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, along with parts of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim.

Gusty winds are also expected to occur at some places in the Tarai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim.
