Kathmandu— Four Australian nationals of Indian origin have gone missing after a flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Nepal on August 16, according to a report filed in Kathmandu on September 5. The individuals — 51-year-old Sreedharan Iyer, 49-year-old Laxmi Sreedharan Iyer, 21-year-old Rudra Sridharan Iyer and 23-year-old Rishabh Sreedharan Iyer — were en route from Dhunche to Mansarovar when they were swept away. Ranjith Sreedharan, who traveled from Kerala, India, to Rasuwa to search for his relatives, has urgently sought help after all communication with the family was lost, with the last known mobile location identified at the Royal Himalayan Hotel Syaphrubesi.

Missing Family Identified

The missing individuals are identified as Sreedharan Iyer, 51, Laxmi Sreedharan Iyer, 49, Rudra Sridharan Iyer, 21, and Rishabh Sreedharan Iyer, 23. All four are Australian nationals of Indian origin.

They were traveling from Dhunche to Mansarovar at the time of the incident on August 16.

Last Known Location

Ranjith Sreedharan, who traveled from Kerala, India, to Rasuwa in search of his relatives, has urgently sought help in finding them, as all communication has been lost. He indicated that the last known mobile location of his missing family members was identified at the Royal Himalayan Hotel Syaphrubesi.

The family remains missing as of the September 5 report, with no further contact established since the flood.
