Kathmandu January 14. Patarasi rural municipality of Jumla is set to provide scholarships to MBBS students under the higher study scholarship program Patarasi rural municipality among eight local governments here is making investment to produce competent human resource in medical sector. Rural municipality chair Laximan Bohora shared the local government would also offer scholarships in technical education. Chief Administrative Officer of the rural municipality Tek Bahadur Budthapa said Rs 500,000 has been appropriated for higher education and Rs 300,000 has been set aside for public service preparation class in the current fiscal year. As part of the process for scholarship for higher education, the task of form collection from interested individuals of the rural municipality is underway. The rural municipality source has said the operational procedure has been already prepared to run the scholarship distribution programme.
