Kathmandu May 3.

The government has recommended the President to convene the budget session of the parliament on 26th of Baishak.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers is held at the Prime Minister’s residence , Baluwatar today. It has decided to convene the budget session of the parliament on 26th of Baishak at 4 pm. There is a constitutional provision for the President to convene the Parliament session on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

There is a constitutional provision that the government should make the budget public on 15th of Jestha. The government’s policies and programs have to be discussed and passed. Meanwhile, the meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday discussed the issue of  Nepalese stranded in India. During the discussion, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepalese living in India should not be brought right now as the condition of India is very serious. He says that it is not possible to rescue the Nepalese living in India right now. The people from Delhi could also come to Nepal while trying  to bring the people trapped  at the border areas. The Prime Minister has instructed to tighten the border to prevent the entry of Corona infected people from India
