BiH presidency member firmly backs China in safeguarding national sovereignty, security regarding Hong Kong

Dodik spoke highly of China’s consistent commitment to the principle of non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs.

BEIJING, June 11 (Xinhua) — Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of the tripartite presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), said in a recent letter sent to Chinese President Xi Jinping that he firmly supports the National People’s Congress’ approval of the decision on establishing and improving the legal system and enforcement mechanisms for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to safeguard national security.

Dodik spoke highly of China’s consistent commitment to the principle of non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs, reaffirmed his full respect for China’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and condemned some countries’ attempts to interfere in China’s internal affairs.

Dodik said he is willing to work together with Xi to continuously push forward bilateral cooperation in various fields within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. ■
