Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju is reported to have sought the Congress' support for the bill, which aims to redraw parliamentary and assembly constituencies and expand the Lok Sabha strength to 850 seats while implementing reservation for women. Sources indicate that there have been three interactions between the government and Rahul Gandhi in an effort to break the logjam in Parliament.
