Viacha health director Rita Nebraska reported that between 10 and 15 people were believed killed and 62 injured, with 14 of the wounded transported to hospitals in La Paz, including a child suffering from third-degree burns.

Firefighters warned of a lingering heat source at the site, urging residents to maintain a 150-meter distance to avoid further risk of explosion. Nearby homes were damaged, and many civilians sustained injuries from shattered glass, with Deputy Minister of Defence Ernesto Justiniano Urenda stating that 50 civilians and six military personnel had been treated at local medical centers.
