Kathmandu— Following landslides that disrupted travel along the Narayangadh-Muglin road this morning, two-way traffic has resumed as of 10:00 am. The Division Road Office in Chitwan reported that debris from five landslide sites had been cleared, enabling normal operations to resume.

Landslide Locations and Impact

According to Arjun Ghimire, an engineer with the Division Road Office in Chitwan, landslides occurred at Tuin Khola, Namsi Khola, Simaltal, 15 Kilo, and 17 Kilo. These incidents led to a one-way traffic operation on the Narayangadh-Muglin road as crews worked to remove debris from the affected areas.

Construction Company's Role

The company responsible for construction work in the Tuin Khola area actively participated in clearing landslide deposits along the highway. Their efforts were crucial in restoring two-way traffic on the road after a period of disruption.

Passengers are advised to exercise caution while traveling, as there remains a possibility of additional landslides occurring at any time.
