Kathmandu, Nov 16 (RSS): CPN (UML) leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that left alliance should be made victorious for the country’s economic development and prosperity.
At a programme organized by Professional District Committee of CPN (UML) and Maoist Centre in the capital city on Thursday, leader Nepal said that the left parties were focused to contest the polls in an integrated manner to bring about the wave of development in the country by realizing the people’s urge for changes.
Leader Nepal, who is contesting the polls from Kathmandu Constituency-2 in the election to the House of Representatives, said that the left alliance was forged by internalizing the national responsibility of country’s development.
The former prime minister also urged the intellectuals and professional to convince the voters about the historical necessity of the left alliance.
Similarly, leader of Maoist Centre Leelamani Pokharel said that target has been set to make the country prosperous through political stability in the country after the unification of both the parties within a short span of time.
He said that the folks were falsified by anti-communist forces stating that the democracy was at risk after the unity of communist parties.
On the occasion, the common candidate of left alliance in Kathmandu Constituency-1 Anil Sharma said that the left alliance should emerge victorious for country’s national unity and prosperity.
