Kathmandu— Students protesting alleged irregularities in the JPSC, JSSC CGL, and other competitive exams in Jharkhand have received support from the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). The party's founder, Abhijeet Dipke, expressed solidarity with the protesters and called for transparency and dialogue between students and the government.

Protesters Demand Transparency

Students in Ranchi are demanding that the Hemant Soren-led government ensure transparency in the exam process. Protestors have urged the government to hold talks with them and address their concerns, emphasizing peaceful protest as a hallmark of democratic engagement.

A protester told ANI, “Engaging in dialogue is a sign of a healthy democracy, and therefore, we humbly request the government to come forward and hold discussions with us. All examinations conducted in the past must be cancelled immediately.”

BJP Criticizes Government

The BJP State General Secretary Amar Kumar Bauri has criticized the Jharkhand government over alleged irregularities in competitive exams, demanding that Chief Minister Hemant Soren resign. Bauri alleged that since the current government came to power, competitive examinations have been affected by involvement of solver gangs and incidents of paper leaks.

Bauri also accused Congress and RJD leaders of “blatant double standards” for not issuing statements on the matter.
