Kathmandu— One person died and nineteen others were injured when a passenger bus collided with the wall of the Gwarko flyover near Lalitpur on August 6. The accident occurred as the bus was traveling from Bhaktapur to Satdobato. Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra confirmed that a 40-year-old woman lost her life in the incident, while those injured are being treated at local hospitals.
Cause of Accident
Superintendent of Police Gautam Mishra attributed the accident to speeding. The bus, registered as Ba 2 Kha 3590, was reportedly traveling at an excessive speed when it crashed into the flyover wall.
