Kathmandu— Nepal's House of Representatives Speaker, Dol Prasad Aryal, has voiced strong support for the preservation and promotion of the nation’s literature, art, and culture, emphasizing their importance as national treasures. Speaking on Saturday at an awards ceremony hosted by the Noor-Ganga Talent Award Guthi in Kathmandu, Aryal stated that protecting these cultural assets is a collective responsibility. He highlighted Nepal's growing international recognition through its unique language, literary traditions, and artistic expressions, stressing the need to acknowledge and celebrate talent within those fields.

National Identity and Cultural Recognition

Speaker Aryal underscored the integral role of Nepali language and literature in shaping national identity. He asserted that Nepal has gained prominence internationally due to its rich cultural heritage, encompassing language, literature, art, and culture. Recognizing talent within these areas is therefore crucial, he stated.

He further emphasized the importance of identifying and nationally recognizing talented individuals and writers who may not receive adequate attention in various parts of the country.
