The minister assured them that the government has mobilized all available technology and resources for search and rescue operations at various tunnel and hydropower projects affected by the disaster. Despite a week of continuous efforts, no significant results have been achieved, leading to profound distress among both families and officials.

Government's Ongoing Efforts

Minister Shrestha emphasized that despite difficult circumstances, search and rescue operations continue without any shortage of technology or skilled manpower. He urged family members not to lose patience, stating that the government is equally distressed over its inability to obtain information about the missing citizens and civil servants. "Every life is precious," he said, adding that the state has spared no effort in searching for each individual.

Coordination Among Agencies

"We will continue our efforts until the very last possibility," Minister Shrestha assured the families. He also noted that the government stands alongside the families of its citizens and civil servants, pledging not to allow them to feel alone during this difficult time. Secretary Sarita Dawadi highlighted that search and rescue efforts are being carried out through coordination among various government agencies, with all available measures being used as protecting citizen lives is a primary responsibility.
