Kathmandu— President Ramchandra Paudel and his spouse visited the Krishna Temple in Patan today for Janmastami celebrations, conducting puja and receiving prasad from the priest, as part of Nepal's annual observance of the Hindu festival marking Lord Krishna's birthday.
Temple Visit Details
President Paudel arrived at the Krishna Temple in Patan accompanied by his spouse, where they performed traditional puja rituals honoring Lord Krishna. The Head of State received floral offerings and prasad from the temple priest during the ceremony.
Local officials including Lalitpur Metropolitan City Mayor Chiribabu Maharjan, District Coordination Committee Chief Rishi Dev Phunyal, and District Officer Narahari Ghimire greeted the President upon his arrival at the temple.
The President later inspected the nearby Mangahiti area following the temple visit.
