UML talks without conclusion, the issue of May 16 or March 12 is stuck

Kathmandu 7 May : Talks between leaders of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (UML) KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s party in Baluwatar have stalled over whether to agree on Jestha 2, 2075 or Phalgun 28, 2077. Leader Yogesh Bhattarai said that the discussion that lasted for half a day could not reach any conclusion.

According to Bhattarai, “the common idea was to form a party, but the issue of uniting the party remained their own.” We said that May 16(2Jestha 2075) should be the basis. ”
However, after they (Oli’s side) said that they should seek consensus by accepting the decision of 28th Phalgun 2077 and not returning on 16 May.

According to Bhattarai, there has been talk of re-discussing and whether there will be an alternative between the two.
leader Subash Nemwang, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel and Bishnu Rimal from the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli Group participated in the discussion while Ghanshyam Bhusal, Gokarna Bista and Bhattarai from the Nepal Group participated in the discussion.

Surendra Pandey was called for the discussion. However, he was not able to attend due to contact tracing of coronavirus.
