However, Samajwadi Party MLA Ravidas Mehrotra has criticized the brief duration of the session, arguing it will not provide enough time for addressing public issues.

Speaker's Call for Constructive Dialogue

Satish Mahana, the Speaker of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, highlighted the significance of debate and discussion in strengthening democracy. 'Democracy is built on both agreement and disagreement,' he stated to ANI. 'Discussion and debate are an essential part of democracy and make it stronger.'

Opposition Criticizes Short Session Duration

Samajwadi Party MLA Ravidas Mehrotra expressed concern over the limited time allocated for the session, arguing that it would not be sufficient to address public issues. 'The House is scheduled for very little time, which is not enough to discuss the problems,' he said. Mehrotra called for an extension of the session duration to allow for a thorough examination and resolution of people's concerns.

Government Aims to Improve Public Welfare

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya assured that the upcoming Legislative Assembly session would focus on legislative work as well as the presentation of a supplementary budget aimed at enhancing public welfare. 'The session will not only involve legislative work but also the presentation of a supplementary budget aimed at improving the lives of the people,' he said.
