Kathmandu— Traffic along the Narayanghat-Mugling road section in Chitwan was brought to a halt on August 5 due to a landslide near Simtal. The District Traffic Police Office chief, Anil Thapa, confirmed that they are working with the Division Road Office to clear the debris.
Landslide Disrupts Transportation
The incident occurred early in the morning and has caused significant disruption for vehicles attempting to travel through this part of Chitwan. Local authorities have been working diligently to assess the extent of damage and begin clearance operations.
Chief Anil Thapa emphasized the importance of coordination between different departments to ensure that traffic can resume as soon as possible.
