Kathmandu— On the first day of the Delhi Assembly's Monsoon Session, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is scheduled to present two Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports. Additionally, Power Minister Ashish Sood will table copies of DERC regulations and notifications related to school education. The session, set from August 7 to 11, 2026, will also see the introduction of several bills and other regulatory documents.
CAG Reports Presentation
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is tasked with presenting two CAG reports on the first day. The first report covers the Government of NCT of Delhi for the year ended March 31, 2023, and the second focuses on state finance for the fiscal year 2024-2025.
DERC Regulations and School Education
Power Minister Ashish Sood will table copies of DERC regulations and notifications related to Delhi's school education. This includes a notification concerning the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Open Access) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026.
Introduction of Bills
The session will also see the introduction of three bills: The Delhi (Right of Citizen to Time Bound Delivery of Services) Bill, 2026; a bill proposing an amendment to Section 2, Clause (g), Sub-clause (iii) of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board Act, 2010; and a bill repealing 'The National Capital Territory of Delhi (Incredible India) Bed and Breakfast Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2007'.
