Indian captain Shubman Gill has amassed 950 runs across 14 innings, maintaining a strike rate of nearly 65. His performance includes five centuries and one half-century, with a highest score of 269. This positions him as the third-highest run-getter in the current World Test Championship cycle.

Rahul and Jadeja’s Consistent Contributions

KL Rahul has proven to be a reliable opener, accumulating 796 runs from nine Tests and 17 innings at an average of 49.75. He has secured three centuries and three fifties during this period.

Ravindra Jadeja has emerged as a dependable batter for India, scoring 725 runs in nine Tests with 15 innings. His average stands at 72.50, highlighted by two centuries and six half-centuries, including a top score of 107*.

Emerging Talent and Veteran Stability

Yashasvi Jaiswal, a young opener, has quickly made an impact with 713 runs in nine Tests across 17 innings. He averages 41.94, boasting three centuries and three fifties, with a best of 175.

Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter, has contributed significantly with 528 runs from six Tests and 11 innings, maintaining an average of 48.00 and a strike rate close to 78. He’s recorded two centuries and three fifties, with a high score of 134.
