Yadav called for an apology from Gandhi, stating that the Leader of the Opposition should facilitate constructive debate rather than obstruct it, and warned that such behavior could damage India’s international image.

Parliamentary Disruption Allegations

Yadav stated that Parliament had been disrupted for fifteen consecutive days due to the actions of Gandhi and other opposition leaders. He specifically referenced a disagreement over NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) examinations, claiming inconsistencies in the opposition’s arguments—suggesting they raised concerns about alleged incidents that did not occur. The Chief Minister also pointed to cases in Jharkhand as examples of the opposition avoiding accountability while criticizing others.

Call for Responsible Opposition

The Chief Minister emphasized that Gandhi, as Leader of the Opposition, has a responsibility to conduct himself with decorum and allow both sides of the House to be heard. He argued that disrupting proceedings not only undermines parliamentary norms but also negatively impacts India’s reputation on the global stage. Yadav stressed the importance of maintaining dignity in political discourse, particularly given India's large youth population.
