He emphasized that Iran would react proportionately to any aggression from the US or Israel, as well as involvement by regional nations in such operations.

Hours after Araghchi's warnings, Kuwait reported intercepting and destroying hostile drones launched by Iran. The debris caused damage to a government building and civilian property on Bubiyan Island but no injuries were reported. Meanwhile, an Iranian security body-affiliated media outlet warned that any US strike on Iran’s energy infrastructure could lead to retaliatory attacks on oil installations in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and Israel.

The ongoing tensions have significantly impacted global energy markets. Brent crude futures increased by 24% in July due to security concerns in the Strait of Hormuz, which has deterred commercial shipping through one of the world’s busiest oil transit corridors.
