Kathmandu— On Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi issued a stern warning to the United States against taking 'adventurous' actions and emphasized that Iran would respond decisively to any aggression. The warnings came during separate phone calls with Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, where regional security concerns were discussed.
Iran's Preparedness for National Security
Araghchi assured his counterparts that Iran is fully prepared to defend its national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security. He stressed that any act of aggression would be met with a firm and proportionate response from the country’s armed forces. This statement comes in light of recent escalations between Iran and the United States.
U.S. Violation of Peace Memorandum
The Iranian Foreign Ministry accused the U.S. of violating a peace memorandum signed mid-June, citing ongoing strikes on Iranian targets, blockades at ports, and increased economic pressure as evidence. The ministry vowed to continue resisting what it termed 'unlawful aggression' from the United States and pledged to defend Iran’s national dignity and independence.
