Chinese Response to Philippine Defense Statement

During a press briefing on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian criticized the Philippines' defense department for issuing a statement that was deemed inappropriate and harmful. Lin Jian stated, 'The Philippine defense department's statement is full of lies and malicious attacks against China.' The spokesperson further noted that such statements interfere with China’s internal affairs and are unacceptable.
