Nepal Foreign Minister Extends Independence Day Greetings to India

Kathmandu— Nepal’s Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal extended congratulations to the government and citizens of India on their 80th Independence Day, observed today. The minister highlighted the long-standing historical and cultural connections shared by Nepal and India, as well as the close relationships between their respective populations. He expressed hope for continued strengthening of bilateral ties and collaboration in the future.

Minister Khanal issued a goodwill message to mark the occasion, formally conveying his warmest congratulations to India. The message underscored the importance of the relationship between Nepal and India, noting the deep-rooted historical and cultural bonds that unite them.
