Flick noted that despite not scoring, Yamal worked hard for the team and was more involved as the match progressed. The coach highlighted that Yamal's performance improved significantly after halftime.

Hansi Flick expressed his confidence in Lamine Yamal’s abilities and emphasized the need to support him during this period of adjustment. He acknowledged the challenges faced by Yamal, who returned from a hamstring injury and played in Spain’s World Cup campaign.
