Kathmandu— A third batch of emergency relief supplies from China, including mortuary freezers and epidemic prevention materials, arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu on September 3. The supplies were transported by a Y-20A large transport aircraft of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF). Additionally, ten forensic experts arrived as part of the fourth batch of Chinese experts to assist Nepal with victim identification efforts.

Relief Supplies and Handover Ceremony

The relief supplies also include daily necessities and Bailey bridges that are critically needed for disaster relief operations in Nepal. Zhang Maoming, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, and Mahabir Pun, Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation of Nepal, attended the handover ceremony for these essential items.

Forensic Expert Assistance

The ten forensic experts who arrived will promptly begin their work to assist Nepal in advancing the victim identification process. According to the Chinese Embassy, this support is crucial for aiding Nepal's ongoing disaster relief efforts.
