Kathmandu— As of September 6, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA) has recorded the recovery of 1,341 bodies and reported 4,996 missing individuals, including 589 foreigners and around 100 security personnel and employees, following the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river systems on August 26.
Logistical Support
Logistical support has been provided to the affected areas, with 83 truckloads and 38 jeeps delivering supplies from Kathmandu. Nine helicopter flights have also been utilized to transport aid. The Armed Police Force has been instrumental in distributing humanitarian aid materials to the affected districts.
