Kathmandu— On Saturday evening, a homemade explosive device went off near the entrance of an upscale restaurant located on Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow. The blast killed at least three people, including the suspected bomber and a security guard, while injuring over two dozen others. Authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident.

According to Russia's Anti-Terrorism Committee, a woman attempted to enter the restaurant carrying explosives but was intercepted by a security guard at the entrance. The device detonated shortly after, leading to immediate casualties and injuries among bystanders. State news agency RIA Novosti reported that 21 people were injured in addition to those killed.
Heavily armed law enforcement officers quickly secured the area around Kudrinskaya Square following the explosion, initiating a thorough investigation into the incident.
