Kathmandu— A government team led by Home Minister Sudhan Gurung reached a 19-point understanding with the Hindu Samrat Sena, ending their agitation programs. The deal was struck after nearly two hours of dialogue in Janakpurdham, addressing demands previously submitted by the Joint Hindu Front and adding six additional points.

Krishna Sanatani, vice chairman of the Hindu Samrat Sena, stated that the government had positive views on their demands and assured steps for implementation. The agreement includes releasing those arrested during protests and ensuring no legal cases will proceed against them in court. Additionally, an investigation into incidents involving security forces firing is promised, with measures to bring guilty parties to justice.
