Kathmandu— On August 5, the Nepalese government appointed Yangki Ukyab as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Investment Board Nepal. Dipa Dahal, press and research adviser to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, announced this decision following a cabinet meeting held today. Ms. Ukyab is a development economist with expertise in public policy and has previously served as a Senior Policy Adviser at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Pacific Regional Office.

Yangki Ukyab, who holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford, brings extensive experience in development economics and public policy to her new role.
