Kathmandu— A reading seminar focusing on the fifth volume of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" was held Wednesday in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan. Organized by the China International Communications Group, the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan, and the Dipservice under the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the event aimed to advance modernization together and build a community with a shared future between China and Tajikistan.

Ambassador's Remarks
Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan Guo Zhijun highlighted that the book documents China’s development practices and contains profound reflections on state governance, social development, people's well-being, and international cooperation. He noted that its publication will help the international community understand Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
Expert Insights
Rashid Alimov, former secretary-general of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and professor at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Tajikistan, emphasized that the ideas in the book have been validated both theoretically and through China's development practices. He pointed out that China’s eradication of extreme poverty, its emergence as a major global economy, and its role in scientific innovation demonstrate the vitality of these ideas.
Student Perspective
Anora Nazhmuddinova, a Chinese-language student preparing to study in Shanghai, expressed that the book contains rich ideas on cooperation and development. She hopes to continue drawing inspiration from it and become a young ambassador for China-Tajikistan friendship.
