Kathmandu— Two individuals, Safine Hamadi and Owen Cenazandotti, have been convicted of aggravated violence following an investigation into the death of Raphaël Graven, a 46-year-old French streamer who was known for his extreme online challenges. The incident occurred in August 2025 in a village near Nice, France, where Graven's death was live-streamed on the platform Kick.

Convictions and Sentences

Hamadi and Cenazandotti were each issued suspended prison sentences for their roles in Graven’s death. Hamadi received an 18-month suspended sentence, while Cenazandotti was sentenced to two years suspended imprisonment. Both men were also ordered to pay fines of €5,000 (£4283) and €15,000 (£12,848), respectively.

The streaming platform Kick remains under investigation by French authorities for its role in the incident.
