Kathmandu— Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke welcomed RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s statement in defense of protesting students, calling for an end to the use of terms like “anti-national” against young protesters. This came after Bhagwat's remarks at a session with Gen Z and Gen Alpha in Mumbai on Thursday, where he stated that youth have the right to protest over genuine issues.

Support for Youth Protest Rights

Dipke expressed full agreement with Bhagwat’s statement that protesting is a legitimate right of young people and their concerns are valid. He urged Bhagwat to leverage his influence as a mentor to the BJP leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to change the discourse around student agitations. Dipke emphasized that several senior BJP members have previously used disparaging language against students, such as labeling them as 'anti-nationals', 'B-team of terrorists', and even 'virus'.

Call for Investigation into Misleading Videos

Addressing the issue of misleading videos circulating on social media, Dipke supported Bhagwat’s call for a thorough investigation. He noted that many fake videos originate from the IT Cell and suggested conducting an investigation to distinguish between genuine and fabricated content.

Solidarity with Jharkhand Protesters

Dipke also expressed full solidarity with ongoing student protests in Jharkhand, stating that CJP has already sent a delegation there. They are distributing food to the protesters and supporting their demands. Despite his current health issues, Dipke intends to join them, emphasizing that students deserve recognition for leading these movements.
