Kathmandu— Nepal’s Prime Minister Balendra Shah visited and worshipped at the Muktinath Mandir in Mustang district on Saturday, as part of a family trip that began Friday. Traveling from Kathmandu via the Pokhara-Beni-Jomsom road section, the Prime Minister arrived in Jomsom at 3:00 pm before proceeding to the temple. The visit was confirmed by local authorities and temple officials.
Temple Visit Details
Prime Minister Shah entered Muktinath Mandir at approximately 7:30 pm, where he spent around thirty minutes in worship. Dinesh Bhusal, Manager of the Muktinath Development Committee, confirmed the details of the Prime Minister’s time at the temple. Following the prayers, Shah received Teeka and Prasada from Krishna Prasad Subedi, the temple priest.
The Prime Minister is currently residing at a hotel in Gharapjhong-3 within Mustang district after completing his visit to the Muktinath Mandir.
