Galkot (Baglung), April 18 A 65-year-old woman from Baglung Municipality in the district has recuperated from coronavirus. She is the sixth confirmed case of COVID-19 in Nepal and the third to recover from it. As her third and fourth laboratory test report showed negative for coronavirus, Dhaulagiri Hospital here is preparing to discharge the woman after her 17 days stay in the hospital, according to the Hospital’s Medical Superintendent Dr Shailendra B Pokharel. “We are preparing to discharge her today itself or tomorrow,” Dr Pokharel added. The woman had arrived home from Belgium via Qatar on March 17. With the confirmation of coronavirus in the first and second tests, she was receiving treatment at the isolation ward of Dhaulagiri Hospital in Baglung. Chief of Gandaki State Health Office Suraj Gurau said that she is cured from coronavirus as the third and fourth of the swab tests were negative. However, doctors have said that she should stay in home quarantine for some days after her discharge.
