Kathmandu May 31: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has accused the opposition alliance and senior advocates affiliated with the alliance of showing off at the Constitutional Court.
Addressing a meeting of the Central Secretariat of the UML-affiliated youth association, Oli said that he was only a judge who would read out the verdict. He expressed his indignation at the advocates debating at the supreme court.
“What is the status of the judiciary that the black-clad people are saying that they are only judges who read out our written verdicts?” This is a serious matter. They are saying that we will not only choose the judge but also give the verdict. ‘Oli was indignant.
The Prime Minister has also objected to the statements of former Chief Justices. He expressed his commitment to save the country from the poisonous ideology of the Ex-VIPs.
“Those who have led the judiciary before are also being harassed. Respecting justice by taking state pension? Doing nothing during your tenure, now interfering in the streets? We will protect our democracy from outdated elements, ”Oli said.
Oli expressed his indignation towards the former elites, saying that some people were acting in the name of the former to prevent them from bringing budget and development.
After the dissolution of the parliament on December 20, the undeclared rhetoric against various prominent personalities of Prime Minister Oli and civil society and the media has been going on like a war.
