Nepal Prime Minister Visits Flood-Damaged Area of Bidur

Kathmandu— Nepali Prime Minister Balendra Shah departed Kathmandu this morning for Bidur in Nuwakot district to inspect areas affected by recent floods. The prime minister, accompanied by Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal, left via roadway at 9:30 am local time to evaluate the damage and likely coordinate relief efforts.

Inspection Trip Details

Prime Minister Shah’s press secretary and research expert, Dipa Dahal, confirmed the departure for Bidur. The trip focuses on assessing the extent of flooding in the Nuwakot district and understanding the immediate needs of those impacted by the disaster.

The prime minister's visit is expected to inform further government response and aid distribution plans for the affected communities.
