Kathmandu— This morning, a car carrying four passengers collided with a bus and plunged into the Sunkoshi River near Nawalpur in Fikkal Rural Municipality-2. The district police office in Sindhuli reports that rescue efforts are underway but no details of the accident have been ascertained yet.

DSP Bijay Shrestha, a spokesperson for the district police office, stated that the police rescue team has arrived at the scene and is working to ascertain details of the accident while also conducting search and rescue operations. The river conditions are challenging, complicating efforts to locate the missing car and its passengers.
